Abstract
En la primera parte de su conferencia, Luis Takahashi Sato habla sobre su trayectoria profesional como arquitecto y sobre sus obras, todas ellas principalmente realizadas en madera.
En la segunda parte comparte las razones que desde un comienzo en los años sesenta – y en un país como el Perú – lo llevaron a construir con madera: un material renovable, que ya por eso es y será cada vez más de interés tanto en el contexto local como en el global.

In the first part of his conference, Luis Takahashi Sato talks about his professional career as an architect and about his works, all of them mainly made of wood.
In the second part, he shares the reasons for which -from his beginnings in the 1960s and in a country like Peru – led him to build with wood: a renewable material, which for this reason is and will be increasingly of interest both in the local as well as global context.
