Im Folgenden wird zunächst nach den Rahmenbedingungen kommunaler Integrationspolitik gefragt: Wo liegt die kommunale Verantwortung für Integration und welche gestalterischen, finanziellen sowie organisatorischen Spielräume haben Städte, Gemeinden und Landkreise in Deutschland? Im Anschluss geht es darum, aufzuzeigen, welche Fragen bei einer strategischen Ausrichtung der jeweiligen kommunalen Integrationspolitik einschließlich des Grundverständnisses für Integration gestellt und beantwortet werden sollten.

Die Veranstaltung fand am 27. und 28. Juni 2017 in der Kunsthochschule Kassel sowie in der Evangelischen Studierendengemeinde in Kassel statt.
