Discourses and texts follow patterns and have their own traditions. The concept of discourse tradition as a form of cultural knowledge that is linked to dimensions of textuality and cooperation is, on a theoretical level, combined with current models of discourse and text linguistics and put into practice by analyzing a corpus of Argentinian press texts.
