Fluoreszenzmikroskopische in-situ-Untersuchungen zu Wechselwirkungen von Fließmitteln und Partikeln in zementären Systemen
Abstract
Effektive rheologiemodifizierende Zusatzmittel sind aus der modernen Betontechnologie nicht mehr wegzudenken. Sei es der wirtschaftlichere, weil schnellere Einbau von fließfähigem Normalbeton oder die Herstellung von hoch- und ultrahochfesten Betonen; die so genannten Fließmittel spielen eine zentrale Rolle beim Einsatz und bei der Entwicklung zeitgemäßer, zementgebundener Baustoffe. Zur detaillierten Untersuchung der Wirkungsmechanismen wurde in dieser Arbeit eine Methode entwickelt, die die Beobachtung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Fließmittel und Feststoffbestandteilen des zementären Systems erlaubt: Die in-situ-Zusatzmittellokalisierung mittels Fluoreszenzmikroskopie. Die Adsorption der Fließmittelmoleküle an die feinen Feststoffpartikel ist für ihren verflüssigenden Effekt von großer Bedeutung. Dieser Vorgang konnte bisher nur indirekt nachgewiesen und quantifiziert werden, was im chemisch komplexen System zementärer Bindemittel verschiedene Fragestellungen offenlässt. Mit Hilfe des hier gegenständlichen Untersuchungsansatzes wurde das Adsorptionsverhalten verschiedener Fließmittelvertreter experimentell bestimmt und in Zusammenhang mit ihrer verflüssigenden Wirkung, aber auch mit der unerwünschten Verzögerung der Zementhydratation gebracht. Ergebnisse verschiedener Untersuchungsmethoden korrelieren weitgehend und bestätigen bisherige Erkenntnisse und Vorstellungen der Fließmittelwirkung. Diese Arbeit etabliert den fluoreszenzmikroskopischen Untersuchungsansatz und ermutigt zum weiteren Einsatz der Methode.
