Soziale Ungleichheit im deutschen Bildungssystem - Eine Analyse der Chancengleichheit beim Übergang von der Grundschule in die weiterführende Schule
Abstract
Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich intensiv mit dem Thema der sozialen Ungleichheit im 21. Jahrhundert auseinander und beschreibt welche Chancen Kinder aus den verschiedenen sozialen Schichten im deutschen Bildungssystem tatsächlich haben. Denn auch nach der Bildungsexpansion in den 1960er Jahren, wird dem deutschen Bildungssystem noch immer vorgeworfen, eine hohe soziale Selektivität aufzuweisen, diese Ergebnisse werden durch die PISA -Studie gestützt.
Bereits im frühen Alter von gerade einmal zehn Jahren werden die Schülerinnen und Schüler auf die unterschiedlichen Schulformen verteilt. Diese frühzeitige Selektion wird in vielen empirischen Studien als einer der Hauptgründe für die soziale Ungleichheit zugrunde gelegt und durch Boudon´s Theorie der primären und sekundären Herkunftseffekte gestützt.
Neben der Untersuchung der Reproduktion von Ungleichheit durch die aufgeführten Faktoren wird in dieser Arbeit weiterhin darauf eingegangen, welche unterschiedlichen Auswirkungen die verbindliche und die unverbindliche Übergangsempfehlung nach der Grundschulzeit mit sich zieht.
