Abstract
La arquitectura contemporánea latinoamericana constituye un conjunto de manifestaciones tan heterogéneas como los contextos que las sustentan, manifestaciones que a la vez comparten características comunes.
La presente conferencia indaga estas características comunes en base a la visión que de ellas tienen quince críticos y editores latinoamericanos: de las quince entrevistas que se realizaron se extraen temas recurrentes que se convierten en conceptos que ayudan a entender e imaginar lo que ha sido y será la arquitectura del siglo 21 en Latinoamérica.

Contemporary Latin American architecture is made up by number of manifestations as heterogeneous as the contexts that underpin them. At the same time, such manifestations share common characteristics.
This conference inquires about these common characteristics based on the vision that fifteen Latin American critics and editors have of them: recurrent themes are extracted from the fifteen interviews and such themes become concepts that help understand and imagine what has been and will be the 21st century architecture in Latin America.
