Zusammenfassung
La investigación aborda las estructuras espaciales, funcionales y perceptuales de las iglesias de Lima del siglo XX, y su relación con los mensajes autorreferenciales referido tanto a la jerarquía entre los participantes como a la exclusividad de desplazamientos de estos en el ritual de la Misa.
Se presenta un ejercicio metodológico para facilitar la comprensión espacial del ritual de la Misa en las iglesias católicas, proponiendo definiciones operacionales y mediciones cuantitativas de los aspectos perceptuales de la arquitectura ritual.

This research addresses spatial, functional and perceptual structures of Lima churches in the 20th century, and their relationship with self-referential messages connected both to the hierarchy among the participants and to the exclusivity of their movements in the Mass ritual.
A methodological exercise is presented to facilitate the spatial understanding of the Mass ritual in Catholic churches, proposing operational definitions and quantitative measurements of perceptual aspects in ritual architecture.
