Eine empirische Untersuchung zur Rezeption von Konnektoren durch Nicht-Muttersprachler des Deutschen auf DSH-Niveau
Abstract
Wie rezipieren Nicht-Muttersprachler/innen Konnektoren in deutschsprachigen Texten? Mittels eines auf dyadischer Interaktion basierenden Forschungsdesigns wurden verbale Daten erhoben, die einen Zugang zu den Verarbeitungsprozessen von Konnektoren ermöglichen. Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt dar, inwieweit Nicht-Muttersprachler/innen des Deutschen auf DSH-Niveau die verbindende Funktion von Konnektoren im Text erkennen und welche Gründe sich für Abweichungen im Verständnisgrad ableiten lassen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die nicht-muttersprachliche Rezeption von Konnektoren ein komplexer kognitiver Vorgang ist, bei dem zahlreiche Strategien zum Einsatz kommen. Von großer Relevanz ist der Bedeutungserschließungsprozess. Hinsichtlich ihrer Komplexität lassen sich Konnektoren in zwei Kategorien unterteilen: solche mit einem niedrigen relativen Komplexitätsgrad (wie die kausale Konjunktion „denn“ oder der mehrteilige Konnektor „sowohl als auch“) und solche mit einem hohen relativen Komplexitätsgrad (wie der mehrdeutige Konnektor „während“ oder der Adverbkonnektor „jedoch“). Die Ergebnisse fungieren als Impulse für die Erstellung von didaktischen Empfehlungen im Bereich Leseverstehen.
