Consejos y consejeros: tradiciones del consejo como secuencia ilocutiva en textos medievales
Abstract
El presente artículo pretende aclarar dentro del marco metodológico de la pragmática histórica la cuestión de los diferentes modos en los que textos literarios de la Edad Media española reflejan situaciones de petición y formulación de un consejo. Se analizan las interacciones dialógicas en el Cantar de mio Cid, el Poema de Fernán González y el Libro de Alexandre ampliando la perspectiva hacia el Conde Lucanor.En el foco central de las interpretaciones lingüístico-filológicas se hallan diálogos en los que un señor pide consejo en una cuestión político-estratégica a sus vasallos. Hay que señalar que estos diálogos, como fragmentos de textos ficcionales, no representan situaciones comunicativas auténticas, sino más bien modelaciones miméticas del acto de aconsejar. A pesar de su transformación por medio de la literatura, estas modelaciones miméticas suponen la representación de un modelo social y de normas culturales y, gracias a esta representatividad, permiten conclusiones sobre qué esquemas del consejo tenían validez o un carácter modélico en la Edad Media en el contexto de una relación feudal entre señor y vasallo. Es por ello por lo que los textos ficcionales suponen una base interpretable para investigar las reglas y tradiciones que regulan una interacción dialógica como el consejo, sobre todo porque los textos literarios de la Edad Media tematizan en especial los papeles sociales. En el centro de mi exposición están pues las tradiciones culturales del consejo, tal y como se reflejan en textos medievales. Este saber cultural e histórico es idéntico a las tradiciones discursivas, que suponen un punto de encuentro entre el saber lingüístico y cultural conformando así una clave de la pragmática histórica.
