dcterms.abstract | Food is a basic need and essential in human beings. COVID-19 pandemic challenges us from food and nutrient security, and thus resilient food system is necessary. Home gardening may improve our self-sufficiency level and have a sustainable food system to cope with the challenging situation. Between, home gardening brings many benefits to human health, including physical, mental, and social. Nevertheless, the most significant challenges of home gardening, especially in urban areas, are the substrate properties, light intensity, and temperature. Therefore, further investigation should investigate the impact on food crop yield on a household level, especially in urban areas in different countries. | eng |
