Lehrinnovation in der Studieneingangsphase „Mathematik im Lehramtsstudium“ – Hochschuldidaktische Grundlagen, Implementierung und Evaluation

Abstract
LIMA steht für "LehrInnovation in der Studieneingangsphase 'Mathematik im Lehramtsstudium' – Hochschuldidaktische Grundlagen, Implementierung und Evaluation". Hinter dem Akronym verbirgt sich ein interdisziplinäres Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Universitäten Paderborn und Kassel. Es begann im Januar 2009 und endete im August 2012. Gefördert wurde LIMA vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) im Rahmen der „Zukunftswerkstatt Hochschullehre“.
Das übergeordnete Ziel des Vorhabens war, den Studienbeginn für angehende Mathematiklehrerinnen und -lehrer zu erleichtern. Es sollten konkrete innovative Lehransätze erprobt und evaluiert werden, um eine wissenschaftliche Grundlage für die Verbesserung der Ausbildung zu schaffen. Dazu wurden im Rahmen einer fachlichen Einführungsvorlesung verschiedene Lehrinnovationen entwickelt und implementiert. Ein Großteil dieser Maßnahmen bezog sich auf die dazugehörigen Übungen: Die Struktur der Übungstreffen wurde verändert, die Aufgaben überarbeitet, die Korrekturen der Übungsaufgaben als lernförderliches Feedback gestaltet und mit dem „Mathetreff“ ein zusätzliches Unterstützungsangebot eingerichtet. Darüber hinaus wurden die Übungsgruppenleiter in mehreren Workshops gezielt auf ihre Aufgabe vorbereitet, als Tandems eingesetzt und auch während des Semesters intensiv betreut. Um zu erfassen, wie sich diese Lehrinnovationen auf die Leistung der Studierenden auswirken, wurden zwei aufeinander folgende Kohorten von Studienanfängern untersucht. Die erste absolvierte die Veranstaltung unter herkömmlichen Bedingungen, die zweite Kohorte konnte die unterstützenden Angebote wahrnehmen und sollte von den Innovationen profitieren.
In diesem Beitrag werden neben dem bereits im Jahr 2013 veröffentlichten Gesamtabschlussbericht auch eine ausführliche Beschreibung der curricularen Lehrinnovation und das Tutorenschulungskonzept, weitere Auswertungsergebnisse einer Klausuranalyse und die Skalendokumentation der Evaluationsstudie als Anhänge des Gesamtabschlussberichtes erstmals veröffentlicht.
