Post-crises response strategies: a combined model to manage brand crises
(National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), Faculty of ManagementTritonic, 2017)
Brand crises negatively affect customers’ perception of the brand’s ability to deliver expected functional or symbolic benefits. Post-crisis response strategies should be implemented to restore brand trust and diminish the effect of reputational threat, since these strategies act as critical determinants of the actual impact of the crisis on consumers’ evaluations and consequently on repurchase intentions. A categorization of the nature of the crisis, distinguishing between ‘performance-related’ and ‘values-related’ ...

However, these studies consider internet-based companies predominantly as a homogeneous group. It is a popular opinion, that digital internationalization ...

Tipping Versus Cooperating to Supply a Public Good
(2017-02-17)
In some important multiplayer situations, such as efforts to supply a global public good, players can choose the game they want to play. In this paper we conduct an experimental test of the decision by a group with fixed membership, playing over a finite number of periods, to choose between a “tipping” game, in which every player wants to contribute to the public good provided enough other players contribute, and a prisoners’ dilemma, the classic cooperation game. The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)
(Rainer Hampp Verlag, München, Mering, 2014)
The United States of America and the European Union are currently negotiating a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). It is one of the most ambitious free trade and investment initiatives, going much further than eliminating tariffs. TTIP mainly aims at reducing “non-tariff barriers”. While tariffs on goods have been imposed with an eye to foreign competition, most of the non-tariff barriers are the laws and regulations that are the result of social struggles for the protection of consumers and ...
